Overall, I am quite satisfied with my portfolio and personal branding. I drew the shorted typeface and am loving it. After finishing the full typeface, I realised that I am actually quite interested in designing typefaces. Back in level 4, I used to like making typefaces too, but I didn't not expect it to be something I would like to focus on in my future design practice. But after level6 PPP, I know that I will be doing more hand drawn typefaces in the future. I love the process of sketching each letter out and digitalising them. It gave me a feeling of producing something visually exciting out of scratch.
Before starting design strategy, it took me a few days to look for evidence of communicating with local creatives. I didn't get the meaning behind this, having us gathering proof of connecting with practitioners and analysing what we have learnt from it. But after typing up the design strategy pdf, it was like clearing up my mind and getting everything organised and really thinking into what I actually have learnt and gained from each experience. This is a really good task for me to revisit the experience and evaluate on them. Also, it took me a while to type up my future plans. I used to only have a brief thought of what I. would like to do after. g graduation and in the new future, but did not really think into the details of it. Having the future plans parts typed up, it helped me build a more concrete idea of where I see myself at in the coming 5 years. Honestly I panicked a bit when I was planning, but it really helped pushed me to think deeper into what I really want and how I would want to achieve it.
