Task1 followup: Updated Statement of Intent

Things I want to include

I am really interested in branding after completing briefs that have done in the past. I would like to continue doing something about branding and branding identity. Rebranding is also something that I would like to do as I get to analyse existing brands and find out ways to improve the brands. This can help me further improve my branding skills and mindset as I can do a lot of research in existing brands and know more about branding. 

I would also like to focus on designing graphics for clothing. I want to try adding drawings into my designs. This has been something that I have been wanting to do but do not know where to start. What I have done in my summer internship helped me a lot skills wise the nit comes to drawing digitally. I would like to fully apply what I have learnt during the summer and try add some handdrawn elements to my work. It could also be applied in the branding briefs too as creating a cartoon character for a brand is becoming the trend now, this could be something to start with. 

Also, I'd love to include Hong Kong culture into my briefs. As HK is a place where I am born and raised, I would love to promote the culture. I also find the culture really interesting and diverse. It is definitely something that I would like to research into, and also the history of how the culture is being developed from a port to an international metropolis. 

Visually, I want to create designs that has a strong visual aesthetic. As I think the aesthetic is also one of the most important criteria when it comes to a "good" design. Alongside a strong aesthetic, I would want to try my best to do as much research as possible to the specific topic of the brief so that I can create "good" in depth content and does not only stays on the surface. Apart from online researching, I will try observing everything that I see on the streets as I think that things we see in our daily lives are definitely the key source of inspirations.
