I have been looping Leah Dou's songs these days. Leah's songs usually have a really rich layers of instruments and sounds at the background, which I personally think could build up people's emotions and feelings. I am particularly in love with her song Orange and Winter's coming. I have strong visualisations fo the songs and feel like I could do something about it by playing around with image manipulation. I don't know where this is going, but I am trying to be as experimental as I can and go with the flow.
I made these imageries out of an image of an orange that I found on Google. I started by playing the song Orange and am rated by the lyrics "All I see is orange" , "its like seven pm in the end of summer" and "I am feeling citrus". These images are made, going with the emotions that I felt while listening to the song. I really like the randomness of the imageries and quite like the weird looking outcome. I do not know what to with these, maybe making a zine of imageries that I make when listening to Leah's songs? Making it like a visual archive of my feelings when listening to her album?
