Collecting skins experiment

 I then further developed the grid idea with different approaches.

Approach 1

I tried taking a human skin tones picture from google and blending all the colours together.

Approach 2
I added a little tweak into the concept of having different skin colours of different people into colour blocks. I asked people to send over some closeups of their own skin and tried placing the skin of one same person into the grids.

I then took the colour code of each person's skin tone.
real skin--> digitalised skin tone

We cannot actually recognise the person by only looking at their skin, so does it really matter?

I then tried posterising all the skins that I collected and realised that a person can a lot of different skin colours at the same time.

One person can have a different skin colours and tones under different lightings, do skin colours really matters?

THOUGHTS

- I feel like I'm focussing too much on the colours of skin, which is something that I do not want my audience to be focussing on. Therefore, I might not use this approach as a final outcome cuz it is not applicable to the message that I would like to deliver.
